Reformers Unanimous

Bible02 What is it?

Reformers Unanimous is a revolutionary addictions program developed over a decade of experience working with hundreds of thousands of addicts. Addiction experts Steve Currington and Paul Kingsbury have produced a program that uses a unique spiritual approach to develop lifelong sobriety.

What is the goal?

Our mission is to help the addicted to experience a life of victory over that addiction. It is obtained and retained not through an experience of ongoing effort, but through a once in a lifetime decision to accept The Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior then to develop a deep love relationship with Him .

How was it started?

After a ten year addiction to cocaine Steve Currington found complete victory through his relationship with Jesus Christ. He then set about developing a faith-based addiction program in 1996. What started as a humble ministry has exploded into a world-wide ministry that has helped many thousands.

What about locally?

Bible Baptist Church in Owosso under the leadership of Brother Tim Whalen started a local chapter in the Shiawassee county Jail in 2009. For security purposes the jail said they could have a maximum of twenty students participate and thirty men signed up! The students showed such a positive response they asked for the same program when they were released. In June of that year the local chapter started on Friday nights at Bible Baptist Church, located at 119 Hoyt Street, Owosso.
